The Operations Department has three annual notifications to students, parents, and staff. The three notifications are “The Smoke/Tobacco Free Workplace”, the “Notice to Parents and Staff Regarding the Asbestos Management Plan”, and the Notice to Parents and Staff Regarding Use of Pesticides”. The three specific notifications can be found on the Corporation web site at www.bgcs.k12.in.us/corporation/operations

Schools Facilities Use
“The School Board believes that the school facilities of this Corporation should be made available for community purposes, provided that such use does not infringe on the original and necessary purpose of the property or interfere with the educational program of the schools and is harmonious with the purposes of this Corporation. The Board will permit the use of school facilities when such permission has been requested in writing by a responsible organization or group of citizens and has been approved by the Superintendent of Schools or his designee.”
Emergency School Closing Information
If Beech Grove City Schools are closed due to extreme weather or other emergencies, families will be contacted by the districts automated phone calling system as well as an email. Please make sure all of your information in Skyward is up to date.
